Campo de Fiori by kenw4y Campo de Fiori by kenw4y
Location: Roma, Italia
Info: I went to Italia and it was awesome! I took this picture in Campo de Fiori, a piazza in Roma. This statue of some man, I am not sure who exactly it is, reminded me of... Assassins Creed! I mean, c'mon.
He's got the cape, the stealthy position, and the menacing looks. Let's pretend it's Ezio, since this was in Italia. After a a few months of having this shot, I decided to just put the AC logo on it. Horrible positioning, I know, but it looked weird when the logo was centred since it'd overlap the statue, and though it was transparent, I don't want it to be ignored.
Anyways, so yeah. First upload, I know it's terrible. But I'm not much of an artist... I'm a more electronical person. I am into photography, photoshopping, and web designing (coding). If I could, I'd marry my DSLR and Laptop. Well... that is an exaggeration, but you get the point!

* Note: I was informed that it was Giurdano Bruno, who was burned at stake at Campo de Fiori. How eerie. *

He isn't Ezio :D
This statue represents Giordano Bruno, philosopher, writer and former Italian Dominican friar.
He was condemned to the stake by the Roman Church and burned in the Campo de' Fiori square, where thou hast photographed.
The Church always burns the brightest minds... during attractive barbecues

Yeah, I know it wasn't Ezio. I was just pretending that he was, since I did not know who the statue was. xD Ezio is a fictional character, after all...
That is interesting. o: I remember when I was in Italia I heard from somewhere that the statue was of a man who got burned at stake due to the Roman Catholic Church, but that was all that I knew. I wasn't even 100% sure of that either, since I don't remember anyone telling me that.
But thank you very much for the information. (: It is much appreciated.

No problem, you're very welcome.
I joked, I know that you were just pretending he was Ezio ;)
